Dr. (Adv.) Kanchan Khatana is the Founder and Managing Partner of POSHAdvo (A brand name under Kanchan Khatana and Associates ) , a leading workplace compliance and governance advisory dedicated to helping organizations build safe, respectful, and legally compliant workplaces.

With over 23 years of experience spanning legal practice, corporate leadership, human resources, and workplace governance, she brings a unique perspective that bridges the gap between law, business, and people. Having held senior leadership roles within multinational organizations before transitioning to legal practice, she understands the practical challenges organizations face in managing workplace culture, employee relations, and regulatory compliance.

An accomplished Employment and Labour Law practitioner, Dr. Khatana advises organizations on POSH compliance, workplace investigations, Internal Committee governance, employment law, workplace policies, employee relations, and organizational risk management. She is widely recognized for helping businesses move beyond statutory compliance by embedding best practices that foster trust, accountability, and a culture of respect.

As an experienced External Member under the POSH Act, Dr. Khatana has supported organizations across diverse industries in conducting fair, impartial, and legally robust inquiries. Her expertise includes advising Internal Committees, handling complex workplace complaints, developing governance frameworks, delivering leadership and employee training, and strengthening organizational compliance programmes.

Under her leadership, POSHAdvo has partnered with organizations across India to deliver comprehensive POSH solutions, including policy advisory, investigations, IC capacity building, awareness programmes, compliance audits, and ongoing legal support. Through these initiatives, she has contributed to creating awareness among hundreds of thousands of employees and professionals, while helping organizations strengthen workplace safety and governance.
